Report – Inter Milan Forced To Accelerate Pursuit Of Parma Defender Amid Strong Competition From AC Milan & Juventus

Time has become a factor in Inter Milan’s long-term pursuit of Parma ace Giovanni Leoni as AC Milan and Juventus aim to beat them to the punch.

Per Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri must put pedal to the metal to overcome the competition.

Giovanni Leoni is arguably the most talented defender in Serie A, hence the intense interest from top clubs eager to secure his signature.

With Milan and Juventus willing to fight for the 18-year-old’s signature, time has become a sensitive mission.

Inter could leverage Cristian Chivu as a key advantage to persuade the teenager to pick the Nerazzurri over rival clubs.

However, Beppe Marotta can no longer postpone talks with Parma.

Parma’s stance is clear. They want around €20 million for their in-demand starlet.

Unfortunately, the price can only go up now that Milan and Juventus are in the mix.

Therefore, Inter cannot realistically hope for a discount.

Meanwhile, they could raise funds by offloading Yann Bisseck.

It’s also possible they could terminate Francesco Acerbi’s contract to make room for the young gun.
