Inter Milan have reportedly pulled the plug on their pursuit of Hellas Verona wingback Jackson Tchatchoua.

According to L’Arena via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri’s interest has taken a back seat despite an affordable price tag.

Jackson Tchatchoua emerged as a potential defensive reinforcement for the Serie A runners-up toward the end of last season.

However, after signing Luis Henrique, the San Siro giants have decided to put their interest in the Cameroonian on hold.

Inter Milan Interest in Jackson Tchatchoua Takes Back Seat

Tchatchoua has enjoyed a rise to stardom at Hellas Verona.

Indeed, he arrived in Serie A from Charleroi in the summer of 2023 before signing a permanent contract the following year.

During his two-year spell at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi, he has attracted interest from several top clubs.

Meanwhile, Verona have slapped a €10 million price tag on the 23-year-old.

Though it’s no small amount, it’s still well within Inter’s range. Yet, the Nerazzurri have opted to shift their focus elsewhere.

Inter’s hesitation could return to haunt them, with Nottingham Forest considering a swoop for the versatile defender.
