Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu wants to keep hold of Hakan Calhanoglu and Davide Frattesi amid intense exit rumors.

According to La Repubblica via FCInterNews, the 44-year-old is ready to mend fences with the exit-linked duo.

Despite Galatasaray’s month-long pursuit, Hakan Calhanoglu could stay at San Siro next season.

Indeed, Inter have shown no intention of lowering their €35 million asking price.

Meanwhile, Galatasaray will not offer more than €15m. As such, the transfer looks destined to fail.

Inter Milan Coach Cristian Chivu Keen to Reinstate Hakan Calhanoglu & Davide Frattesi

In addition to Calhanoglu, Chivu is ready to give Davide Frattesi another chance to prove himself at Inter.

Though Simone Inzaghi often used the 25-year-old as a substitute, he could take a more significant role under Chivu.

Therefore, the Serie A runners-up have taken the former Sassuolo midfielder off the market.

Furthermore, the new manager will prioritize integrating Frattesi into his revamped midfield setup.

As for Calhanoglu, Chivu will reportedly try to repair his broken relationship with club captain Lautaro Martinez.
