Report – Inter Milan Must Make Room For Standout Defensive Target

Inter Milan must offload at least one defensive star before launching a decisive assault on Parma starlet Giovanni Leoni.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri must raise funds for the 18-year-old teenager.

Giovanni Leoni has emerged as Inter’s top defensive target.

Despite facing strong competition from AC Milan, Cristian Chivu remains confident of reuniting with his ex-Parma pupil.

Then, there’s the Italian’s substantial price tag.

Indeed, Parma won’t let their most prized asset for less than €30 million.

Inter have already splashed out around €70m this summer.

However, the Serie A runners-up are reluctant to give up on their hopes of luring Leoni to San Siro.

With that in mind, Yann Bisseck could soon pack his bags.

Courted by Aston Villa and West Ham United, the German could fall victim to Inter’s pursuit of the teenage sensation.
