Inter Milan have reportedly set their sights on Dinamo Zagreb winger Moris Valincic to replace the injured Denzel Dumfries.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the 23-year-old has emerged as a potential target for the Nerazzurri.
Denzel Dumfries is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Indeed, the 29-year-old will soon undergo ankle surgery, which may keep him out for several months.
Therefore, the San Siro giants are in the market for reinforcements, largely thanks to Luis Henrique’s underwhelming form.
Signed from Istra 1961 in the summer, Valincic has immediately established himself as a regular starter in Zagreb.
For context, he made 11 consecutive league starts for Mario Kovacevic’s side before suffering an ankle sprain in early November.
However, unlike Dumfries, Valincic is on the verge of returning to action, with Inter considering luring him to Serie A this winter.
Meanwhile, Inter will not sever ties with the Dutch star under any circumstances, despite his injury setback.
