Inter Milan will soon meet Atalanta at the negotiating table again to discuss the transfer of star forward Ademola Lookman.

According to Sportitalia via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri are ready to lodge a second offer for the 27-year-old.

Despite failing at the first time of asking, Inter are unwilling to admit defeat.

Indeed, their opening €40 million bid came up short of Atalanta’s €50 million valuation.

However, the Nerazzurri will try again soon.

Inter Milan Plot Second Bid for Atalanta Ace Ademola Lookman

Inter will reportedly increase their offer as they want to sign Ademola Lookman at all costs.

Furthermore, they’ve already convinced the ex-RB Leipzig forward of their project.

With Lookman agreeing to join Cristian Chivu’s men, Inter have every reason for optimism.

Yet, they want to avoid getting dragged into any protracted negotiation.

Indeed, the team will gather at Appiano Gentile to embark on pre-season training next week.

As such, Inter are eager to put Lookman at Chivu’s disposal in ten days.

Otherwise, they’ll turn to other targets, such as Nicolas Gonzalez and Lois Openda.
