Report – Inter Milan Set To Rival Man Utd & Newcastle For Feyenoord Captain

Inter Milan have reportedly joined Man Utd and Newcastle in the race for Feyenoord captain Quinten Timber.

According to English outlet TEAMtalk via FCInter1908, Cristian Chivu’s men are ‘carefully evaluating’ the Dutchman’s profile.

Quinten’s twin brother Jurrien is already an established Premier League star. Indeed, he swapped Ajax for Arsenal in 2023.

Meanwhile, the Ajax academy graduate could follow in his brother’s footsteps and grace English football.

However, Inter could prevent that from happening.

Inter’s quest for a new midfielder is well-documented.

With Hakan Calhanoglu and Kristjan Asllani set to leave, the Italians are keen to add to their engine room.

Despite their genuine interest in Ederson, Atalanta’s asking price is out of Inter’s reach.

Therefore, they’re in the market for alternatives, with Timber emerging as a potential option.

Indeed, Timber has entered the final year of his contract at De Kuip.

As such, he could be available in a cut-price deal, even though the Rotterdam club still hopes to extend his stay.
