The Inter Milan squad will reportedly make their return to preseason training in two different waves of players.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are just a few weeks away from the start of the new Serie A season.
Participation in the Club World Cup has significantly changed Inter’s preparations for the new season.
The late end of that tournament has compressed the period of time in which the Nerazzurri have to start preparing for the season to come.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter have not yet formally picked a date for the entire squad to gather for preseason training.
The players who participated in the Club World Cup will arrive later.
According to the Gazzetta, the players who did not participate at the Club World Cup will be at training for some time after the 20th of July.
The date for their returns could be the 22nd of July.
Then, the rest of the squad are not going to filter in gradually.
Rather, the Gazzetta report, there will be another wave of players to return all at once. Everyone who was in the squad for the Club World Cup.
That wave could arrive sometime around the 27th of July.
