Report – Inter Milan Suffer Major Transfer Blow – AC Milan Closing In On Torino Midfielder

AC Milan are reportedly on the verge of beating Inter to the signature of coveted Torino midfielder Samuele Ricci.

Per Gianluca Di Marzio via FCInterNews, Milan and Torino held ‘positive’ talks in the morning as Ricci edges closer to San Siro.

It’s no secret that AC Milan and Inter both appreciate Samuele Ricci.

However, the Rossoneri have taken concrete steps to win the race and sign the 23-year-old star.

Indeed, Ricci is now one step away from joining Massimiliano Allegri’s side.

AC Milan Set to Beat Inter to Samuele Ricci

Milan must add to their midfield options after letting Tijjani Reijnders move to Manchester City earlier this month.

Therefore, they’ve decided to accelerate their long-term interest in the former Empoli ace.

Meanwhile, Milan’s progress in negotiations with Torino could signal the end of Inter’s pursuit of Ricci.

However, there’s a silver lining.

Indeed, Marco Baroni’s employers won’t let Ricci depart the club before finding a suitable replacement.

That could give Inter a late window of opportunity to hijack Milan’s bid at the 11th hour.
