Report – Inter Milan To Focus On Offloading Fringe Midfielder After Completing Ademola Lookman Purchase

Inter Milan will intensify their efforts to offload out-of-favor midfielder Kristjan Asllani after completing Ademola Lookman’s signing.

According to La Stampa via FCInter1908, the San Siro giants refuse to let any distractions stand in the way of their pursuit of Lookman.

Talks with Atalanta have reached an impasse, but the player’s wish to join Inter could make the difference.

Indeed, Lookman’s agents are currently working with the Nerazzurri to unblock negotiations with La Dea.

Once they’ve signed Ademola Lookman, Inter will focus on other deals.

Kristjan Asllani has fallen out of favor at San Siro, with Cristian Chivu ruling him out of his project.

Therefore, the club has put the 23-year-old on the market, hoping to earn around €18 million from his sale.

However, the former Empoli midfielder turned down a transfer to Real Betis earlier in the summer.

Indeed, he is keen to stay in Serie A, where only a handful of teams can afford his price tag.

After Bologna and Fiorentina, Torino have joined the race to sign Inter’s fringe midfielder.

Yet, Marco Baroni’s men are hoping to land the Albanian on loan with an option to buy.

That’s not what Inter chiefs have in mind.
