Inter Milan are eyeing up a move for Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade.

This according to Italian outlet Gazzetta.it. They report that the 23-year-old is among the Nerazzurri’s targets as they aim to lower the average age of their squad.

23-year-old forward Nick Woltemade joined Stuttgart from Werder Bremen last summer.

The German has enjoyed something of a breakout campaign for the Bundesliga team. He has made 33 appearances across all competitions, scoring seventeen goals and making three assists.

That has earned Woltemade his first senior call-ups for Germany. And it has also, naturally, attracted transfer interest in the 23-year-old.

Inter Milan Eyeing Up Stuttgart Forward Nick Woltemade

According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta.it, Woltemade is among the targets for Inter Milan this summer.

It is no secret that the Nerazzurri are trying to skew younger with their signings this summer.

The high age of the squad has been a clear problem for Inter in recent seasons. Therefore, they are reportedly looking to target younger players.

These include the likes of Ange-Yoan Bonny and Rasmus Hojlund in attack.

And according to the Gazzetta, the name of Stuttgart forward Nick Woltemade can be added to that list of younger strikers Inter are targeting.

The newspaper adds that Stuttgart want a fee of around €40 million for the 23-year-old.
