Report – Inter Milan Undeterred By Monaco Exorbitant Asking Price For Highly-Rated Forward

Inter Milan have no intention of dropping interest in Monaco talent Maghnes Akliouche despite his stratospheric price tag.

According to Le Figaro via FCInter1908, Monaco’s mammoth €70 million asking price has not scared off the Nerazzurri.

Indeed, the San Siro giants remain in the market for attacking reinforcements.

Despite naming Ademola Lookman their top target, talks with Atalanta have not progressed as expected.

On the contrary, negotiations have been at a standstill for weeks.

Therefore, the Serie A runners-up are re-evaluating their options.

Maghnes Akliouche has emerged as a potential backup plan should Inter fail to secure Lookman’s services.

However, Les Monegasques have slapped a prohibitive price tag on their sought-after forward.

Indeed, Akliouche has emerged as one of the most promising talents in European football.

His contract at the Stade Louis II expires in 2028, which puts Monaco in a strong bargaining position.

Yet, Inter’s interest could test Monaco’s resolve, especially if the Nerazzurri decide to invest heavily to sign the Frenchman.
