Inter Milan reportedly aren’t interested in either Chelsea’s Chrstopher Nkunku or PSG’s Marco Asensio despite rumours.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Libero, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri would instead target younger players.

Inter Milan could make another attacking signing this summer.

The Nerazzurri have already completed a deal for striker Ange-Yoan Bonny. Meanwhile, Francesco Pio Esposito will stay at the club and become part of their first-team project next season.

However, Inter reportedly also want an attacker who offers something different. They want an attacking midfielder who is proficient in tight spaces.

Inter Won’t Move For Nkunku Or Asensio Despite Rumours

There are a couple of names to have emerged on Inter’s radar in the last few days. At least according to reports.

One is that of Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku. The other is Paris Saint-Germain and former Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio.

Both players currently play for some of Europe’s top clubs. However, neither look to have a role in the project going forward at their respective clubs.

Therefore, Inter could sense an opportunity to sign either Nkunku or Asensio for a relatively low fee.

According to Libero, though, that is not the Nerazzurri’s plan. Rather, they do not want to sign players in their mid-to-late-twenties on higher wages.

Instead, Inter will focus on younger players with lower wages.
