Inter Milan would only consider a swap deal with Parma involving Ange-Yoan Bonny and Francesco Pio Esposito on one condition.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInter1908, report that the Nerazzurri would only do such a deal in the event that they have a buyback option on Pio Esposito.

It is no secret that Inter Milan want to sign Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny.

Reportedly, the 21-year-old is one of the Nerazzurri’s main targets in attack for next season.

Inter have already begun negotiations with Parma to try and make a deal for Bonny. They have not, however, completed a deal in time for the Club World Cup.

Inter Would Only Consider Bonny – Pio Esposito Swap Deal With Buyback Clause

There have been some reports that Inter could offer striker Francesco Pio Esposito as part of a deal for Bonny.

This would lower the fee for the Frenchman. Moreover, it would certainly be a big incentive for Parma – as the teenage striker would be an instant like-for-like replacement for Bonny in attack.

However, reports Tuttosport, there is certainly no chance that Inter would want to actually lose control of Pio Esposito’s future.

The 19-year-old is still a major part of the Nerazzurri’s future plans.

Therefore, reports Tuttosport, Inter would insist on having a buyback option on Pio Esposito in any swap deal. This would be somewhat similar to the arrangement that saw Giovanni Fabbian join Bologna in 2023.
