Juventus are reportedly ready to rival Inter Milan to sign Fiorentina wingback Dodo this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that the fee for the Brazilian will be around €30 million.
Fiorentina defender Dodo reportedly wants out of his club this summer.
The Brazilian has come to the end of his third season at Fiorentina. And he feels that he has done all that he can do in Tuscany.
Therefore, Dodo has made no secret of the fact that he is pushing for an exit.
There would be no shortage of interest in Dodo following his excellent form for Fiorentina.
The Corriere dello Sport note that Inter are among Dodo’s suitors.
The Nerazzurri have identified the 25-year-old as a potential replacement for Denzel Dumfries. They are bracing for the possibility that a big club could trigger the Dutchman’s release clause.
But according to the Corriere, Juventus also see Dodo as a target.
The Bianconeri are aiming to sign a right-wingback for coach Igor Tudor’s 3-4-2-1 system. And they see Dodo as an ideal target.
The Corriere report that Fiorentina will hold out for €30 million for Dodo. They could negotiate on the structure of a deal, but not that asking price.
