Besiktas are reportedly in negotiations with Sassuolo for Armand Laurienté, who is eager to make the move, but the asking price is set at €30m.
Multiple sources in Turkish football, including Sports Digitale and Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, maintain that the striker is pushing to join Vincenzo Italiano’s Besiktas.
Sassuolo are also prepared to make a sale this summer, as the player has been linked with moves away several times in recent years, on the verge of joining Sunderland in 2025.
However, the asking price is set at €30m and Besiktas need to hit that figure to get the 27-year-old.
Laurienté first joined Sassuolo from Lorient in the summer of 2022 at a cost of €10.1m plus add-ons, including a 20 per cent cut of the future sale fee.
He only recently signed a new contract with the Neroverdi that runs to June 2029, but an exit was always on the cards.
The versatile forward plays primarily on the left wing, but can also work on the right, or as a centre-forward.
The Frenchman scored 19 goals with 21 assists in 103 Serie A appearances.
