French club Lens have joined Fiorentina in the race to sign outgoing Inter Milan center-forward Sebastiano Esposito.
Per Sky Sport via FCInterNews, Les Sang et Or are considering a loan swoop for the 23-year-old.
Lens and Inter did business last summer.
Indeed, the Nerazzurri agreed to loan Martin Satriano out to Stade Bollaert-Delelis with a mandatory buyout clause.
Despite the Uruguayan’s disastrous injury, Lens had to make his transfer permanent earlier this summer.
Though Satriano’s move hasn’t turned out as expected, Lens are hoping to have better luck with Sebastiano Esposito.
Highly coveted in Serie A, Esposito has drawn interest from Cagliari and Fiorentina.
However, the Florence giants are in the driver’s seat as they are willing to sign him permanently.
In order to make that happen, Fiorentina must first address the futures of Albert Gudmundsson and Moise Kean.
Meanwhile, Inter are ready to listen to offers for the former Empoli loanee, hoping to raise funds for further arrivals.
