Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund is open to making the move to Inter Milan this summer transfer window.
This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have identified Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund as a top target in attack this summer.
The Nerazzurri are already right on the verge of a deal for Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny. However, they are not going to stop with the Frenchman.
Hojlund is a player Inter continue to rate highly in spite of two underwhelming seasons with United. And at 22 years old, he is well within their age profile.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Inter will likely have to offload Mehdi Taremi before they can make a move for Rasmus Hojlund.
The Iranian’s situation is uncertain at the moment. He is stuck in his home country of Iran amid an escalating conflict with Israel.
But Inter will try to find a new club for Taremi before the end of the summer transfer window.
And if the Nerazzurri are able to do that, then they will move for one more striker. And there is little doubt that Hojlund is the player they will prioritize.
Inter will try to convince Manchester United on a loan deal for the Danish international. This would also contain a purchase option.
So far, the Red Devils have not agreed to such a formula.
However, reports the Corriere dello Sport, Hojlund himself is open to joining Inter.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri are hoping that the 22-year-old’s desire to make the switch will motivate United to listen to initial loan offers.
