A recent managerial shake-up could hand Davide Frattesi a new lease on life at Inter Milan after intense exit talks.

Per FCInterNews , Simone Inzaghi’s exit could potentially reshape the Italian’s role in the squad under Cristian Chivu.

Davide Frattesi seemed destined to leave the San Siro despite his failed transfer to Roma in January.

Indeed, the 25-year-old’s future at Inter under Simone Inzaghi looked sealed.

However, the 49-year-old manager’s move to Al-Hilal could turn things around.

New boss Cristian Chivu doesn’t share Inzaghi’s view.

On the contrary, he trusts Frattesi could be a difference-maker for Inter next term.

Therefore, he’s willing to give the former Sassuolo midfielder the benefit of the doubt.

On the other hand, Frattesi has never expressed his desire to leave.

Now that he has the manager’s backing, it’s only natural to expect Frattesi to fight for a more prominent role in the Nerazzurri shirt.

Meanwhile, Roma’s interest in the Italy international has vanished since January’s rejection.

Furthermore, after signing Kevin De Bruyne, Napoli are no longer in the picture.
