La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan are interested in Udinese defender Thomas Kristensen, who already received an offer from Aston Villa at the end of the summer transfer window.
Milan have set their sights on Udinese centre-back Kristensen and will have a chance to watch him closely on Saturday when the two sides meet in a Serie A match at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine.
Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Rossoneri are still looking for defensive reinforcements, and the Udinese defender has emerged as one of the most interesting profiles in the opening games of the campaign.
The 23-year-old ranks first for defensive clearances in Serie A with over 11 per game. He has also won 72% of tackles so far this season and has completed 95.5% of passes in his own half and 72% in the opposition’s half.
Kristensen’s price tag will undoubtedly be higher than €15m, a sum that, according to Gazzetta, was offered by Aston Villa at the end of the summer transfer window.
Udinese, however, had already sold Jaka Bijol to Leeds at the beginning of the summer window and were unwilling to sell another centre-back.
