As already reported on Football Italia this week, Milan are lining up a new offer to Strasbourg for Guéla Doué.

The right-back is the older brother of Paris Saint-Germain star Désiré and can play as a central defender as well as on the right side of a four-man line.

He has been on their radar for quite a while, but the Rossoneri already missed out on left-back Archie Brown because they were too hesitant to make the deal stick with KAA Gent, allowing Fenerbahce to step in.

Milan feeling pressure for Doue

Fearing another upset, Sky Sport Italia now claim that Milan are ready to come back in with a new and improved proposal to Strasbourg.

It had been suggested the initial €15m bid was rejected, as the club values him at a minimum of €20m.

Although Doué made the transfer to Strasbourg from Rennes for under €7m last summer, his value has since soared on the market.

The 22-year-old has decided to play his international football for the Ivory Coast and already amassed five senior caps.
