According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are preparing an offer exceeding €13m, plus striker Lorenzo Colombo, for Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.

Milan have identified 18-year-old Parma defender Leoni as a possible reinforcement for 2025-26 and are ready to send an opening offer to the Ducali, according to Gazzetta.

Milan prepare offer for Leoni

The report claims that Milan are open to offering €13m to €15m plus their striker Colombo, who has returned to San Siro after a one-season loan spell at Empoli.

As reported by Football Italia earlier this week, Parma are unwilling to sell Leoni and only offers around €25m could tempt the Ducali to sell their promising centre-back.

Gazzetta confirms that Parma don’t need to sell the player for financial reasons.

Two Milan centre-backs could leave

Milan could even send a plain cash offer, but would need to sell at least one centre-back, especially Fikayo Tomori or Malick Thiaw, given that Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlović are part of Massimiliano Allegri’s plans for next season.

Leoni made his Serie A debut in the 2024-25 campaign, becoming a regular starter under Cristian Chivu. The Italian defender scored one goal in 17 appearances with Parma this season, collecting 1.025 minutes in Serie A.

Gazzetta adds that Inter and Juventus are also interested in the 18-year-old.
