Inter Milan outcast Mehdi Taremi is reportedly eager to stay in Europe after being deemed surplus to requirements.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, several clubs in England and Turkey are ready to end his troubled spell at San Siro.
Mehdi Taremi joined Inter from Porto last summer as a free agent.
However, his first season in Serie A was an unmitigated disaster, with the Iranian scoring just once in 26 matches.
Therefore, Cristian Chivu’s men have put the 33-year-old up for sale.
Despite his underwhelming spell in Italy, Mehdi Taremi has numerous admirers abroad.
Indeed, Turkish giants Besiktas are in pole position to sign the veteran striker.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest and Fulham may try to take him to the Premier League.
Finally, Fenerbahce could rival their bitter rivals after losing Edin Dzeko to Fiorentina.
As for Taremi, he has accepted his fate.
With the arrival of Ange-Yoan Bonny and Francesco Pio Esposito’s return, there’s no longer a place for him at San Siro.
