Report – Roma Make Formal Offer For Palmeiras Midfielder Amid Inter Milan Transfer Links

Roma have submitted an official offer for Palmeiras star Richard Rios, intensifying the competition with Inter Milan for his signature.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Giallorossi have presented the Brazilian outfit with a tangible €30 million offer.

New Roma boss Gian Piero Gasperini has identified Richard Rios as a top midfield target.

Indeed, the capital-based club will soon sever ties with Leandro Paredes, who’s close to joining Boca Juniors.

Therefore, they aim to fill the gap with Rios.

Roma’s proposal should get the deal done.

While Palmeiras recently turned down Porto’s €17m bid, they can hardly stay immune to this figure.

As such, it’s fair to say that Inter are on the verge of losing this transfer race.

However, he costs a fortune, and unless Hakan Calhanoglu leaves for €35m, he should be out of reach.

Meanwhile, Roma could beat Inter to another player after deciding to intensify talks for Rasmus Hojlund.
