Report: Tottenham begin work on signing highly-rated Chelsea target after scouting mission

Tottenham are hoping to sign Rayan from Vasco da Gama, and they have recently scouted him in action.

They sent scouts to watch the player last week, and they have made enquiries about whether he will be called up to the national team soon, as per Papo Na Colina. It could help them secure a work permit for the player if he is a part of the national team set-up.

The 19-year-old is a promising young player with a bright future, and he could develop into a player for Tottenham with the right guidance. They need more depth in the attacking unit, and the Brazilian would be a long-term investment.

Meanwhile, a report from Bolavip claims that Chelsea has now joined the race for the Brazilian as well. They have the resources to get the deal done, and they could certainly use more quality in the final third.

Premier League move could tempt Rayan
