Report: Tottenham join race to sign €30m-rated La Liga ace with 'good technical qualities'

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for the Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera.

The 20-year-old has done quite well for the La Liga outfit, and he has been linked with multiple clubs. Liverpool and Chelsea are keen on the player as well. The Spanish under-23 International is highly rated across Europe, and he has a bright future ahead of himself.

Former Valencia youth coach Miguel-Ángel Angulo has previously praised him.

“He’s characterised by a physical condition and good technical qualities, powerful in the air, and mature for his age,” he said in 2021.

As per CaughtOffside, Tottenham have been monitoring his development, but the player is reportedly keen on a move to Germany with RB Leipzig. It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can convince him to join the club. He would be a solid long-term investment for them.

Tottenham need a defender

Cristian Romero has been linked with a move away from the club, and Tottenham will need to replace him. Signing a talented young defender like Mosquera could prove to be a wise decision. Even though he might not be as good as the Argentine right now, he has the potential to improve further and establish himself as one of the best defenders in the league.

It will be interesting to see how the situation develops. The 20-year-old is clearly a player in demand, and he will need to decide on his future carefully. He should look to join a club with ambition this summer. Furthermore, the 20-year-old will want to join a club where he will get regular game time. He will not want to sit on the bench at a big club.
