Report: Tottenham monitoring 'great talent' after his fallout with rival club

Tottenham Hotspur are considering a move for the Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho during the summer transfer window.

The 21-year-old has had a fallout with Manchester United, and he’s on the list of expendables this summer. Manchester United are looking to get rid of the player, and Tottenham have registered interest in him, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

Garnacho is an elite talent

Tottenham need to improve their attacking unit, and the South American would be a solid long-term investment. He is highly rated across Europe, and he has been labelled as a “great talent” in the past. He has the tools to develop into a top-class, Premier League attacker.

He has already shown his ability in English football, and he will only improve with coaching and experience. He could be an asset for Tottenham if they can get the deal done.

Tottenham could use Alejandro Garnacho

Tottenham need more depth in the final third, and the South American will add unpredictability to their attack. He is excellent when it comes to taking on defenders and beating them in one versus one situations.

Richarlison is expected to move on this summer, and Son Heung-min has been linked with an exit as well. Tottenham need a dynamic attacker like Garnacho, who can slot into multiple attacking roles.

He scored 11 goals and picked up 10 assists for Manchester United last season.

The opportunity to move to Tottenham could be exciting for him. He would get to continue in the Premier League and compete at a high level as well. Tottenham will be able to provide him with UEFA Champions League football next season.

The attacker was initially valued at £70 million, but he is likely to be available for a more reasonable price now. It remains to be seen whether an follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign him.
