Report: Tottenham ‘most concrete option’ for ‘special’ player, contact underway with agents

Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo Goes continues to be linked with a move away from the club, and Tottenham Hotspur are a concrete option for him.

He has been linked with other clubs, but a report from Fichajes claims that Tottenham are currently the ‘most concrete option’ for the Brazilian. They are intensifying contact with the player’s representatives, and they are trying to convince him of their project.

Can Spurs convince Rodrygo Goes?

The 24-year-old is a world-class talent with a bright future, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham can convince him to join the club. He has won multiple league titles and Champions League trophies already, and he might prefer to join a club capable of winning top honours right away.

On the other hand, Tottenham are going through a period of rebuilding, and they have brought in a new manager. Joining them might be a gamble for a player of his calibre. It remains to be seen how the situation develops. He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career, and Tottenham will be able to provide him with that platform. If he manages to impress in the Premier League, it could secure him a place on the Brazilian national team for the upcoming World Cup.

Rodrygo needs game time

He might not be a regular starter for Real Madrid next season, and leaving the Spanish club will be his top priority. He has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool as well. It will be interesting to see if they decide to come forward with an offer to sign him.

Signing the South American attacker will not be easy, and he is valued at €90 million. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham are prepared to break their transfer record to sign him.

He has all the tools to develop into a future star, and he might be able to justify the investment in future. Former Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has previously labelled him as a ‘special’ player.
