Report: Tottenham 'refusing' to answer calls for Harry Kane after rejecting Manchester City's £125 million bid

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is "refusing" to answer phone calls for Harry Kane after rejecting Manchester City's £125 million offer for the striker, according to The Telegraph.

Levy reportedly values Kane at £150 million, so City will need to significantly improve their offer in order to change Levy's stance.

Kane is pushing for a move from Tottenham, and the Englishman believes Levy broke his promise of allowing him to leave the club this summer after an unsuccessful 2020-21 campaign. Levy has reportedly been disappointed in Kane for not reporting to the team this year.

It was reported earlier this week that City were "pushing ahead" with their bid to sign Kane. The club has a little more than two weeks to complete a deal before the transfer window closes on Aug. 31.

According to ESPN, Man City have suggested they would be willing to break the British transfer record to acquire the star striker. They previously broke the transfer record earlier this summer when they paid £100 million to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.

Manchester City reportedly offered Tottenham £100 million for Kane in June, and it was reported the Spurs had "no intention" of accepting that offer.

Kane has spent the last nine seasons with Tottenham, scoring 162 goals in 220 starts.
