Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail is reporting that Tottenham Hotspur and England superstar striker Harry Kane missed the start of the club's preseason training sessions because he was made to quarantine for 14 days following a holiday in the Bahamas with his family.
Travel restrictions that changed in England on Aug. 8 forced the 27-year-old to enter self-isolation and provide negative coronavirus tests before he's allowed to return to team activities.
Barring a positive test, Kane should be welcomed back by Tottenham at some point next week.
Tottenham play a warmup match versus Ipswich Town this Saturday. Kane will be unavailable for selection for that contest and likely for games against Reading and Birmingham City next weekend.
The North London outfit opens the 2020-21 Premier League campaign versus Everton on Sept. 12.
