Report – Turkish Club Set Sights On Argentina Defender As Inter Milan Seek Permanent Transfer

Turkish minnows Rizespor are reportedly contemplating a loan swoop for Inter Milan outcast Tomas Palacios.

Per FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri would ideally offload the Argentine flop permanently.

However, Rize’s stance is clear. They hope to sign Tomas Palacios on loan with an option to buy.

Meanwhile, the 22-year-old is not part of the project at San Siro despite joining the club only last summer.

Indeed, Cristian Chivu hopes to reunite with his former Parma associate Giovanni Leoni at the Nerazzurri.

Leoni won’t come cheap, hence Inter’s intention to cash in on several fringe players, including Palacios.

Except for several cameo appearances, the 22-year-old barely featured for Inter in the first half of last season.

Then, he signed for Monza on a short-term loan in January, hoping to get his career back on track.

However, he found first-team opportunities hard to come by.

With Monza suffering relegation to Serie B, Palacios returned to Inter in June.

Yet, he should think twice before unpacking his bags.
