Tottenham Hotspur star Dele Alli was robbed at knifepoint at his North London home early Wednesday morning, according to a report.
According to ESPN's James Olley and other outlets, citing police, the 24-year-old England midfielder was at his residence with his partner, Ruby Mae, and three other individuals who have been isolating during the coronavirus pandemic when a pair of thieves entered and stole jewelry, including expensive watches, from Alli.
Reports claim Alli suffered minor facial injuries before the robbers fled.
Alli and the Spurs addressed the story via Twitter:
Thank you for all the messages. Horrible experience but we’re all okay now. Appreciate the support.

Tottenham also released a statement shared by ESPN: "We have been offering our support to Dele and those isolating with him. We encourage anyone with any information to help the police with their investigation to come forward."
Closed-circuit television footage was shared with police soon after the incident, according to reports.
Alli and other Tottenham players are set to resume training on Monday in preparations for the restart of the Premier League campaign halted by the pandemic in March. However, The Guardian's Paul MacInnes and David Hytner reported the league may not restart until at least June 19 due to concerns among players and managers about safety.
