Inter Milan and AC Milan will form a holding company through which they will complete the purchase of the San Siro.
This according to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, via FCInterNews. They report that the name of the club will be Nsm Holding.
Last month saw a landmark in Inter and AC Milan’s efforts to build a new stadium.
The city of Milan officially approved the sale of the San Siro to the two clubs.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri and the Rossoneri will be able to buy the land. Then, therefore, they can begin construction on a new stadium.
According to La Repubblica, Inter owners Oaktree Capital and Milan owners RedBird Capital are planning to create a holding company.
This company will be called Nsm Holding. The two North American funds will be equal owners in the company.
Then, La Repubblica report, Nsm Holding will complete the purchase of the San Siro from the city of Milan.
Meanwhile, La Repubblica report, Massimiliano Catanese, a chief of staff and representative of Oaktree at Inter, will play a key role in managing the purchase.
Also set to play key roles are Milan President Paolo Scaroni, and Oaktree representative Katherine Ralph.
