The New England Revolution dealt forward Tomas Chancalay to Minnesota United on Friday in exchange for $100,000, along with a percentage of any future transfer fees received for the Argentine forward.
Loaned to the Revolution by Argentina's Racing Club in July 2023, Chancalay became a permanent member of New England that November and posted 12 goals and three assists over 49 appearances (33 starts) in parts of three seasons.
In 2025, he totaled four goals and two assists over 26 matches (12 starts).
"On behalf of the Revolution, I'd like to thank Tomas for his contributions during his time with our club," sporting director Curt Onalfo said in a release. "We wish him and his family all the best as he begins this next chapter with Minnesota."
