Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has experienced a major loss in the family as his mother, Marie Keane, passed away earlier today.
Keane would routinely return to his hometown to visit his mother over the years, as she, along with his late father Maurice “Mossie” Keane supported him throughout his career.
On one such visit home in 2022, Roy Keane posted a picture of him and his mum on Instagram captioned “the only boss I listen to” highlighting the bond they had.
