French superstar Marcus Thuram will reportedly miss tomorrow’s Champions League showdown between Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and Inter Milan.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 28-year-old is hoping to recover for next weekend’s trip to Naples.
Marcus Thuram has been on the sidelines since late September.
Indeed, the former Borussia Monchengladbach star suffered a thigh injury in a Derby d’Italia defeat at Juventus.
However, Inter have thrived in his absence, hitting a purple patch on multiple fronts.
Despite Thuram’s month-long spell on the sidelines, Inter have racked up a six-game winning streak in all competitions.
Most recently, they overcame Roma last weekend, as Ange-Yoan Bonny scored a winning goal in the sixth minute.
Indeed, the 21-year-old has flourished during these past few weeks, finding the net in back-to-back Serie A starts.
Therefore, he’s the favorite to lead Inter’s attack at Lotto Park tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Thuram could return to the squad for Saturday’s Serie A game against Napoli at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
