Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr want Manchester United star Alejandro Garnacho, who is available for sale during the summer window. Garnacho has dominated the news cycle since Ruben Amorim decided to sell the United academy products after his off-field behaviour.

The Red Devils fanbase have tolerated a nightmare campaign with the club finishing 16th in the Premier League last season. United also lost the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur, who finished 17th in the Premier League table last season.

To make things worse, United’s historical arch-rivals Liverpool equalled their record of 20 League titles by winning the Premier League. Amorim needs to kickstart his project during the summer to make things right at the club, despite facing financial problems.

The Red Devils have numerous players in their squad who have failed to adjust to Amorim’s tactical style of play. United need recruitment, and to do that, they have to sell many surplus players to raise the transfer fund first.

However, many of these players lack the valuation due to their poor record, forcing United to sell players with potential. According to Daily Mail, Amorim told Garnacho to find a new club after falling out with him post-Europa League game.

The 20-year-old is available for an offer of around €60m (£50.4m), a pure profit that could help the club financially. Journalist Ben Jacobs (via GiveMeSport) revealed that Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr want United star Garnacho during the summer window. He said:

“Keep an eye on Al-Nassr in particular. As I exclusively revealed a few weeks ago, Al-Nassr’s first choice is Luis Diaz, but it’s not a guarantee that he will exit, because Liverpool are kind of 50-50, and it will depend on the offer and the player. If Diaz doesn’t go, Garnacho is also on Al-Nassr’s list, and another club that really like him are NEOM SC, but I’m not so sure that Garnacho would accept NEOM’s proposal, because the finances will be less.”

The United fanbase is divided when it comes to potentially selling Garnacho, one of their academy products. The Red Devils have a long tradition of developing big talents and making sure they enjoy their best years at the club.

Most of the success under Sir Alex Ferguson came from the development of youth players and playing them regularly. However, United are facing a new reality where they have to make unpopular decisions to make their way back to the top.
