Spurs are seriously interested in the 23-year-old Greek international winger, Christos Tzolis, who currently plays for Club Brugge in Belgium. Multiple reliable sources (including TEAMtalk and various football news outlets) report that Spurs’ scouting and analytics teams have been tracking him closely for months, and he’s surged to the top of their shortlist for a left-winger.
Tzolis is on many clubs’ radar this winter, but January is in Club Brugge’s hands. The Greek winger is under contract until 2029, and Brugge doesn’t want to sell mid-season unless an offer they can’t refuse lands. They turned down over €30m in the summer and expect any deal to reach a club record of €40–45m.
Tottenham are tracking Tzolis to strengthen their wide options. Spurs want someone proven at a top level who can slot straight into the XI, so Tzolis could become the main target if first-choice options like Savinho are out of reach. Their analytics and scouting teams rate him and consider him a strong option this month.
The Boy Hotspur says he’s in excellent form: This season alone, he’s notched around 11 goals and 15 assists (with reports of even higher goal contributions like 26 across competitions in some updates), plus strong output last season (e.g., 21 goals and 16 assists in 56 games).
He’s versatile, hard-working, and brings pace, flair, creativity, and shooting threat—qualities Spurs need after selling Brennan Johnson to Crystal Palace for ~£35m earlier this month.
Interestingly, Tzolis has prior Premier League experience (he was at Norwich City earlier in his career), so he’s not a total unknown in England and could adapt quickly now at 23.
There’s strong interest from Spain and Germany. Atlético Madrid have been watching him, and his profile fits a modern right-sided role similar to Jurrien Timber. Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs.
Spurs are weighing him against bigger names like Rodrygo (Real Madrid), Nico Williams, Savinho (Man City), Maghnes Akliouche ( Monaco), and Ademola Lookman (Atalanta), but internal sources say Tzolis is viewed as a standout, more realistic option—with some senior scouts and analysts pushing hard for him as the priority target.
In the Premier League, Crystal Palace discussed him but moved to another target, while West Ham and Aston Villa know Brugge won’t sell in January unless a record bid opens the door.
