Manchester United continue to be linked with a move for Juventus star Kenan Yildiz

Manchester United have been looking to compound on their roster as Ruben Amorim looks to build a side suited to his system and philosophies. But with the Portuguese head coach, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also quite keen on bringing in young players with high potential and having them run the show at Old Trafford for years to come.

This is where the decision-makers at M16 will need to start identifying young players who not only have the potential to make a long-term impact at the club but also have the capacity to come in and start pushing for minutes.

This is where one name stands out in Turkish international Kenan Yildiz, who has been playing some impressive football for Juventus for the past season or so. And his attributes, alongside his high ceiling, have got a lot of Premier League clubs knocking on Juve’s doors looking for a possible transfer.

Among others, Manchester United has also been linked with his signature, while Arsenal and Chelsea are also said to be pushing for the Turkish sensation.

Juve warned to be wary of United for Yildiz

And according to the latest from Quotidiano Sportivo, as they cover interest from the English top tier, the report goes on to warn Juve to be ‘wary of offers’. They claim that both the aforementioned clubs are ready to offer €85-90m for the 20-year-old.

One of these sales can go a long way in improving the finances for the Serie A giants; however, they are planning to reject all the offers coming in for Yildiz, with a new contract offer already being considered.

This would provide the Old Lady an opportunity to improve their finances. However, the report states Juventus’ plan is to reject any offer and renew his contract. They are said to be working to offer him an improved contract. It is reported that their proposal is slightly lower than €5m per year plus bonuses, and the report goes on to claim that they will have to raise their offer to reach an agreement with him & his representatives.

TTLB Opinion

This ideally is a perfect opportunity for United to pounce on his signature. Given that the club has a financial flex which can definitely take over those wages that Juventus are offering him, United can force Juve into a sale or a contract offer which is much more improved than this one.
