Sevilla midfielder Lamela: We know Man City best in the world

Sevilla midfielder Erik Lamela admitted frustration after losing the UEFA Super Cup.

Sevilla lost to Manchester City on penalties in Athens.

Lamela later said: "It's really frustrating for us to lose a game like this. It was really close, and we've got nothing, so we are very sad. But I'm also proud of my team-mates.

"We won on penalties [in the Europa League final] but we lost tonight, this is football. We put a lot of effort in and ran a lot against a very good team. To play at this level against this team, you need to do that.

"We know Man City are probably the best in the world at the moment, so I'm really proud of my team-mates. We gave our all."
