Beppe Signori recalls Roberto Baggio’s advice, with Ciro Immobile and Federico Bernardeschi set to join Bologna: ‘It’s the ideal place.’
Signori moved to the Stadio Dall’Ara in 1998 to replace Baggio who had spent one season at the club before joining Inter.
Italy internationals Immobile and Bernardeschi, two Euro 2020 winners, are now on the verge of joining the Rossoblu as well and Signori feels they need the same advice Baggio gave him almost 30 years ago.
“When I received the Bologna call, I immediately contacted Roby, and he told me: if you want to relaunch yourself, it’s the ideal place for the city, the people and the quality,” Signori told Gazzetta.
“I’d tell them [Immobile and Bernardeschi] the same things. They are smart guys and know what to do. Bologna always gives you that plus, but it always leaves you quiet. It’s an added value for the time and the people.”
