Scudetto-winning manager Simone Inzaghi is on the verge of taking over Al-Hilal after halting his four-year stint at Inter Milan. 

Per Corriere della Sera via FCinter1908, the 49-year-old had made up his mind even before the Champions League.

Paris Saint-Germain humbled the Nerazzurri in a humiliating Munich showpiece last weekend.

Indeed, Luis Enrique’s high-flying side thumped the Serie A runners-up 5-0 en route to their maiden Champions League title.

Though it was a remarkable performance from PSG, Inter’s lackluster approach facilitated the French team’s road to victory.

Despite refusing to comment on his future in the pre-match conference, Simone Inzaghi unintentionally gave a hint at his decision.

He met Al-Hilal chiefs in the build-up to the most significant fixture in Inter’s recent history.

Indeed, the squad took the field bereft of confidence and seemingly fazed by Inzaghi’s uncertain future.

As such, the ex-Lazio manager may be the only culprit for Inter’s embarrassment in Munich.
