Sir David Beckham and Kylian Mbappe hold transfer talks

Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he has held talks with Sir David Beckham over a potential future transfer.

The France international admitted that the Manchester United legend has discussed a move with him on several occasions.

Beckham remains one of football’s most influential figures away from the pitch.

As reported by talkSPORT, Kylian Mbappe was asked whether he could see himself playing in Major League Soccer one day and confirmed that Beckham has repeatedly raised the possibility.

The 27-year-old said: “We’ll see. David Beckham has mentioned it to me many times.

“American culture is different, there are no limits to ambition, and I like that.”

Mbappe enjoying another sensational season

Mbappe’s comments come during another outstanding campaign in his career.

The Real Madrid forward finished the 2025/26 season with 43 goals and six assists in 47 appearances across all competitions.

Remarkably, he also scored 43 goals during his debut season in Spain, finding the net 43 times in 56 matches during the 2024/25 campaign.

His form has continued onto the international stage.

Mbappe scored twice in France’s 3-1 victory over Senegal in their opening match of the 2026 World Cup, helping Didier Deschamps’ side begin the tournament in perfect fashion.

Beckham continues MLS recruitment drive

Beckham has already helped attract some of the biggest names in football to the United States through Inter Miami.
