Sir David Beckham is one of many players to have taken part in differing events since their retirement from football.

Beckham, who featured 265 times for Manchester United during his time at Old Trafford, was part of the group that bought Salford City.

Salford, who currently play in League Two, are owned by a number of former Manchester United players including Gary Neville.

As part of this, Beckham and Neville recently admitted that the Ammies had been in financial trouble prior to a new ownership group raising funds to help the club.

Meanwhile, the former professional was recently approached in a takeover bid for the Red Devils as new buyers become interested in United.

Furthermore, most recently, the 50-year-old was officially knighted earlier this month following his inclusion in King Charles III’s Birthday Honours list earlier this year.

Now, following this major achievement, Sir David Beckham is set to take part in an event for the King’s Foundation.

The Royal Horticultural Society have announced that David Beckham will be helping to design a distinctly regal garden for next year’s prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

RHS state that the former England international will co-create a showpiece for the Royal Horticultural Society and the King’s Foundation, the educational charity founded by King Charles.

Talking about his involvement with the feature garden, the 50-year-old stated: “My love for the countryside started when I was a child visiting my grandparents.

“I’ve experienced how rewarding gardening can be and that’s why I’m looking forward to working with The RHS and The King’s Foundation on their Curious Garden at the 2026 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

“I hope we inspire people to get outside into nature and to try something new.”

The event runs from May 19th to May 23rd next year on the banks of the River Thames in London.
