Juventus have submitted an opening offer to sign Leipzig forward Loïs Openda on loan with an obligation to buy, reports from Italy claim.

According to what has been reported this evening by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on X and Sky Sport journalist Gianluca Di Marzio , Juventus have turned their attention to the Belgian forward after PSG have shown to be resistant in the Bianconeri’s effort to bring Randal Kolo Muani back to the club after his successful loan spell last season.

Transfer dominos appear to be in play, with Leipzig close to a deal to sign Sporting forward Conrad Harder, who had initially appeared close to joining Milan. The Bundesliga side are therefore open to Openda’s departure and Juventus will now attempt to negotiate a deal.

Openda becomes Juventus top target after Kolo Muani difficulties

Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan with Juventus and performed well for Igor Tudor’s side. Whilst he was the Bianconeri’s top target to gift Tudor just one more signing, PSG’s stubborn demands lead the Old Lady to Openda.

The 25-year-old forward signed for Leipzig from Ligue 1 side Lens in 2023 and has scored 41 goals in 92 games in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit.

Openda also has 3 goals in 27 appearances for the Belgian national team.
