Sky Sport Italia reports that Roma and Milan are discussing a possible swap deal involving Artem Dovbyk and Santiago Gimenez.
Serie A giants Milan and Roma are considering a swap deal between their strikers Gimenez and Dovbyk.
Both strikers appear likely to lose their starting spots this season, and Sky Sport’s Gianluca Di Marzio hints that the Rossoneri approached their rivals to discuss a swap deal.
It remains unclear whether Roma and the two strikers will accept moving forward in negotiations.
Milan and Roma completed a loan swap deal a year ago, when the Rossoneri welcomed Tammy Abraham from the capital, sending Alexis Saelemaekers the other way.
The Belgian winger has now returned to San Siro and is expected to be a semi-regular starter under Massimiliano Allegri this season, while Abraham joined Turkish side Besiktas weeks ago.
Earlier today, Milan reached an agreement to sign Christopher Nkunku on a permanent transfer from Chelsea, but are still looking for more reinforcements in attack.
