Lucca has been struggling for playing time this season after completing an initial loan move with an obligation to buy from Udinese last summer.

The former Bianconeri striker has only netted two goals in 20 appearances across all competitions with the Partenopei in 2025-26.

Transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio notes that it’s still unclear whether Lucca will push to leave Napoli, even on loan this month, or remain at Napoli to try to convince Antonio Conte to give him more playing time in the second part of the campaign.

According to Gazzetta, Roma have also shown interest in Lucca and could offer Napoli a swap deal involving Artem Dovbyk.
