Reports in Germany suggest that Borussia Dortmund are interested in Roma forward Matias Soulé and believe they could get a deal for €30m.

According to Sky Sports Deutschland, representatives for the player had made the approach to Borussia Dortmund to see if they would be interested.

Soulé future at Roma still uncertain

Tuttomercatoweb maintain there is an interest from the Bundesliga side, along with VfB Stuttgart, but that these are still very early days.

Any negotiation would be tricky, considering Roma only just bought Soulé from Juventus last summer at a cost of €25.6m plus €4m in add-ons.

It is no secret that the Giallorossi have to sell in order to balance the books and avoid Financial Fair Play penalties, especially after refusing to sell Manu Koné to Inter.

With that in mind, Argentina international Soulé could potentially be sacrificed to raise funds, especially as it remains to be seen how he will fit into the tactics of new coach Gian Piero Gasperini.
