Arsenal travel to St Mary's Stadium on Saturday evening to face Southampton, with both teams competing for a spot in the FA Cup semi-finals at the Wembley Stadium.

Following their defeat to Manchester City in the EFL Cup final, Mikel Arteta’s side will be determined to bounce back with a strong performance.

Having narrowly escaped an upset against Mansfield Town in the previous round, the Gunners understand that there is no room for complacency if they want to keep their pursuit of further silverware alive.

Southampton, meanwhile, enter this quarter-final on the back of an impressive 14-game unbeaten run in all competitions. Currently sitting 7th in the Championship, Tonda Eckert’s side will look to pull off an upset against the Premier League leaders.

Overcoming the visitors will be a massive task, as the team will have to cope with the suspensions of Flynn Downes and Kuryu Matsuki.

Arsenal are also managing several fitness concerns following the international break. Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Declan Rice have all been ruled out, while Martin Odegaard remains a major doubt for the trip to St Mary's.
