Spurs icon claims struggling first-team star is now looking 'unbelievable' under Frank

Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison has been linked with a move away from the club during the summer transfer window.

The player has not been able to live up to the expectations since the big money move from Everton, and he has been linked with an exit over the last few months. However, it seems that he has now turned a corner. His performances have been outstanding in the opening games of the season. 

It will be interesting to see if he can salvage his Spurs career and establish himself as a key player for the club. There is no doubt that he is a quality player, and he has previously shown that with Watford and Everton. He will look to get back to his best once again. 

Jermain Defoe heaps praise on Tottenham ace

It seems that the player is thriving under Thomas Frank, and Tottenham fans will certainly hope that his form can continue. Former Tottenham icon Jermain Defoe has heaped praise on the Brazilian for his displays. 

Defoe told NBC Sports: “I just felt like Richarlison’s energy levels it’s unbelievable.

“He did not stop running, and we know how hard it is, you know, when you’re pressing with that sort of intensity, I don’t care how good you are as a player, it’s so difficult to play around.”

Richarlison needs to perform at a high level
